Hamster Raffi belongs to eight-year-old Sammy. The little rodent is very special – not only can he kick goals with a football but he can also sniff smuggled goods – better than a tracker dog. One day Raffi falls ill with a heart problem which needs to be operated on. The adventure begins when the recuperating hamster is hamster-napped by a scheming criminal. Sammy has to find Raffi against all odds, and in true crime-caper style is up against a conniving villain who discovers Raffi’s talents could be useful. Set in Hamburg, this is an adventure for brave hearts and hamster lovers.
Raffi is exciting and very adventurous. It’s a bit scary but that makes it more fun to watch - Sabine, Age 9
